ABOUT US

Davis Timber Company, Inc. is a multigenerational family business that has proudly invested more than forty years in the forestry industry throughout the East Texas and West Louisiana regions.

Our Dad, Robert “Bug” Davis, began working in the timber industry at 18, toting a chainsaw and hauling logs in the short pulpwood arena. In 1983 he and Mom, Robbye, were married and together they grew a happy family and a thriving business. For decades, Dad bought and sold timber, developing multiple logging crews to harvest the wood while Mom ensured the accounts were reconciled and the checks were written.

Capatilizing on their extensive experience in the timber industry, Dad and Mom saw an opportunity for expansion. In 2018 the boys, Ramsey, Logan and Brad, joined the family business, and together we ventured into the pole and pilings manufacturing sector. After years of dedication, diligence, and sweat equity, Davis Timber Company successfully operates a pole mill in DeRidder, Louisiana. Each day Dad, Logan, and Brad work proactively to distribute quality products, develop sound relationships with our suppliers and buyers, steward our resources responsibly, and support our local communities. Mom continues to make sure the budget is balanced and the bills are paid. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute positively to a flourishing Southwest Louisiana economy and look forward to further expansion.
